Choreographer, Co-Artistic Director of Moo Contemporary. Moon Glasgow Brown co-founded Zeke’s Freedom Foundation, which provides spaces for Black LGBTQ healing and joy. Glasgow-Brown is also part of a collective of Black-led organizations called Freedom House, a meeting place for Black leaders engaged in movement work. GlasgowBrown is the executive director of the Kansas City Anti-Violence Project, an organization that provides support to LGBTQ youth and adults who have experienced trauma, violence, harassment, or neglect in Missouri and Kansas. 

Polly Alice Artist is an author, artist, and poet with a deep love for lyrical narrative. She credits much of her creative work to her master’s thesis in creative writing and poetry on the Jungian subconscious creative process, which won her an Ernest Hartmann Award. Her poetry has been featured in publications including Rattle, Naugatuck River Review, Thorny Locust, and arc24, 365 Days, and was selected for the KC Streetcar Poetry Project. Polly has edited over thirty poetry books. With five collections of her own. Watch out for her sixth book: “Dragon Lady: Chimera Poems” by Spartan Press. Her art and poetry have been published in US newspapers and magazines, most recently Rattle Magazine, and she has shown art internationally from Santa Monica to the Netherlands. She is the executive director of Creative Spark Gallery and Studios on Englewood Row in Independence, MO.
