"Gentle & Restful Yoga with Tasjha. Take a peaceful midday pause with gentle movement, mindful breathing, and deep relaxation. This all-levels class is designed to help you reduce stress, restore balance, and return to your day feeling refreshed. This is a style of class that is slow, low and a nourishing blend of Yin, Restorative, and Myofascial Release. This is your space to fully unwind… to give yourself the mental massage you've been needing and the retreat you've been wanting to take (I'll take you to your inner island escape in your own mind) and to put down the too-much-of-life, that you’ve been carrying day in and day out. This is the most relaxing class you've ever taken, I PROMISE! You are invited into this non-intimidating space where your only job is to come back to yourself and reclaim your peace of mind. This current-day world will try to fight and wrestle you for your peace. Come reclaim it in the quiet and calm environment that I will create for you. No pushing, performing or touching your toes. Just slow breathing, meditative grounding support, and a deep, long exhale. All levels welcome. Come as you are. Advance registration is best and most helpful, as we have limited spots available. Ticket holders accept the liability waiver below. Waiver: Attendees in yoga class acknowledge that participation in yoga involves physical activity and carries minor risk of injury. Participants are responsible for their own health and well-being. They waive Tasjha Dixon/ Empowering KC and Creative Spark Art Gallery from liability for any injury, loss, or damage related to my participation. Teacher Bio: I’m Tasjha Dixon—is the owner of Empowering KC. She is a RYT-500 yoga educator, writer, spoken word poet, and trauma-aware facilitator and guide. She’s been teaching yoga since 2013 and practicing for over 20 years, guiding spaces fully rooted in joy, embodiment, healing, and coming home to the wisdom of the body.
